The Board of the Capital Market Authority (CMA) issued its resolution to suspend the license granted to Dirham Capital Company to conduct Managing Investment and Operating Funds, Arranging, and Advising in the securities business, for the safety of the market and the protection of investors, based on clause (b) of Article Sixty-Two of Capital Market Law issued by Royal Decree No. (M/30) dated 02/06/1424H.
This comes in line with the CMA's responsibilities to issue decisions, instructions and set the procedure as deemed necessary for the implementation of the provisions of the Capital Market Law and the Implementing Regulations, and conduct inquiries and investigations regarding violations of the provisions of the Capital Market Law and the Implementing Regulations. Also, this comes with continuous supervision, it was noted that some issues need to be investigated in regard to Dirham Capital client's investments and the accuracy of its disclosure.
