​The CMA’s Board of Commissioners issued it's resolution to authorize “Watheeq Financial Services Company” to conduct Private Non-real-estate Investment Fund Management, Sophisticated Investor Portfolio Management, Arranging, and Advising activities in the securities business.

It is worth to mention that this is the first license of its kind in Private Non-real-estate Investment Fund Management, Sophisticated Investor Portfolio Management activities. This comes as a result of amending the Authorised Persons Regulations and reducing licensing requirements; in line with CMA's strategic initiatives pertaining to easing the constraints on Managing license.
