Imposition of a Penalty on Methanol Chemicals Company

The Capital Market Authority announces the issuance of a CMA Board resolution to impose a penalty of SR 10,000 (Ten Thousand Saudi Riyals) on Methanol Chemicals Company (CHEMANOL) due to its violation of clause (B) of Article (40) of the Listing Rules. The company was late to inform the public at least two hours before the market opens on 30/03/2014 about the invitation to convene the general ordinary assembly .
