Announcement from CMA to lift the suspension of trading of shares of Allied Cooperative Insurance Group (ACIG)

Following CMA Board’s resolution on 22/04/2012 regarding the continuation of suspension of trading shares of Allied Cooperative Insurance Group (ACIG) on the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) for failing to announce its initial statements for the period ending in  31/03/2012 within the specified period by the Listing Rules. And since the company announced its initial statements for the period ending in 31/03/2012 on 16/05/2012, which has illustrated that it sustained a net loss of 3.22 million Saudi Riyals resulting in accumulated losses of the company reaching 84.15% of its capital which required necessary statutory procedures, and was followed by the Board’s resolution on the matter, the following has been decided:

A)    The lifting of suspension of trading of the company's shares will start on Saturday 19/05/2012.

 

B) The company has to correct its position in regard to its accumulated losses that exceeded three quarters of its capital in accordance to the relevant regulations and not later than the date in which the company announces its initial financial statements for the period ending on 30/06/2012. CMA will then look into the measures taken by the company accordingly.
