The Capital Market Authority Approved Mobile Telecommunications Company’s Request to reduce its capital and subsequently increasing it through a rights issue offering

The CMA Board has issued its resolution approving Mobile Telecommunications Company’s request to reduce its capital from SAR (14,000,000,000) to SAR (4,801,000,000), thus reducing the number of shares from (1,400,000,000) shares to (480,100,000) shares. This approval is conditional on the Company’s extraordinary general assembly approval and completion of the necessary procedures in relation to the applicable regulations.

 

In addition, the CMA Board has issued its resolution approving the Company’s request to increase its capital through a rights issue offering with a total value of SR (6,000,000,000). The rights issue is limited to the shareholders who are registered in the shareholders register at the close of trading on the extraordinary general assembly day, which will be determined later by the company's board. The price and number of offered shares will be determined by the company during the extraordinary general assembly. The company's rights issue prospectus will be posted for the public.
