CMA Chairman to express His pride and thankfulness to the Leadership

His Excellency Jammaz Abdullah Al-Suhaimi, CMA Chairman, expressed, on behalf of his colleagues, his great pride and thankfulness for the Royal valuable confidence bestowed upon them, assuring that they will live up to the expectations.  His Excellency thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahad Bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz, the Second Deputy Prime Minister.

The Chairman affirmed that he and his colleagues will work sincerely and save no effort to meet the Royal confidence by regulating the capital market, developing methods of systems and entities trading in securities as well as improving procedures that would reduce the risks related to securities transactions.  The CMA will endeavor to raise investors’ awareness, to enhance confidence in the market and stability.  He also stated that the CMA’s Board would start meeting very soon. The focal point of such meetings will be reviewing and discussing required mechanisms and procedures necessary to apply the Capital Market Law (CML) and issue the implementing rules as soon as the Board’s approval is made.
