​Child & Youth Finance International awarded the Capital Market Authority (CMA) as the best institution offering financial awareness in the Middle East and North Africa in the Second Annual Summit held between 7th and 9th of May 2013, In Istanbul, Turkey. CMA was one of the best five in the world as well along with Mexico, Philippines, Uganda and the United Kingdom.

CMA was awarded in the “countries” category for its efforts in financial awareness in the kingdom with the “The Smart Investor” program.  The program reached to 3.5 million last year through participation in economic and social events as well as the schools and exhibitions all around the Kingdom. "The Smart Investor” program includes a bi-annual magazine, plays and competitions that aim at raising awareness among youngsters.

The summit included sessions and workshops to discuss various topics related to sustainability such as the role of technology in financial awareness, youth unemployment, financial empowerment in conflict areas, children and working principles in addition to the teachers and banking institutions’ roles. The participants had the opportunity to talk with the attendance of children and youngster and listen to their views and suggestions towards the different topics of awareness.
