CMA provides content of handbooks in English, targets current and potential future investors in the market

The Capital Market Authority (CMA) has provided its published investor awareness handbooks in English for investors to read on its website, as part of its efforts to educate current and potential future investors in the capital market.

CMA published 15 handbooks that tackle various topics which concern investors in today’s markets, particularly after the global financial crisis and the need for better financial literacy programs.  The handbooks cover a wide range of issues such as investment, mutual funds, reading financial statements, how to file a complaint, and a guide for the shareholder in general assemblies. Other handbooks give a special focus on investment for retirees and youth.

CMA believes that financial and investment awareness at an early stage contribute to the avoidance of a crisis, as investors in capital markets become wary of the risks involved in various investments.

The English handbooks serve as a means of education for non-Arabic speakers who wish to invest in the Saudi capital market.
