An announcement of the issuance of the Board of the CMA Resolution Number (25-65-2016) and dated 22/8/1437H to adopt the updated Frequently Asked Questions document in relation to the Rules for Qualified Foreign Financial Institutions Investment in Listed

​As part of CMA's continuous efforts to ensure clarity of the implementing regulations of the Capital Market Law to help market participants to recognize their duties, responsibilities and rights, which will enhance the level of compliance with the Capital Market Law and its implementing regulations.

Accordingly, and based on the Capital Market Law issued by Royal Decree Number (M/30) Dated 2/6/1424H, the CMA Board of Commissioners has issued its resolution Number 25-65-2016 Dated 22/8/1437H corresponding to 29/5/2016G to adopt the updated Frequently Asked Questions document ("FAQs") in relation to the Rules for Qualified Foreign Financial Institutions Investment in Listed Shares, which includes answers on the frequently questions that were received after adopting the Rules for Qualified Foreign Financial Institutions Investment in Listed Shares (the Rules). The CMA Board of Commissioners had previously issued its resolution No. 3-42-2015 dated 07/15/1436H corresponding to 04/05/2015G, containing the adoption of the Frequently Asked Questions document

("FAQs") in relation to the Rules for Qualified Foreign Financial Institutions Investment in Listed Shares, and the resolution of the CMA Board of Commissioners No. 4-70-2015 dated 09/11/1436H corresponding to 24/08/2015G, including the adoption of the updated FAQs on its second issuance.
