​In continuance to the CMA role in regulating and developing the capital market, and aiming to make the capital market environment more stable, and in accordance with the national transformation program and the Saudi Vision 2030, and based on the capital market law issued under the royal decree no. It's worth mentioning that the updated Merger and Acquisition Regulations – which took into consideration the comments and observations received from concerned and interested parties- aims to regulate the mergers and acquisitions, which include the regulation of the acquisition through the general assembly, the controls over the relevant sales or purchases, the approach, the mandatory offers and disclosure requirements.
