As part of the CMA`s effort to enhance the regulatory framework governing securities’ issuance, surveillance, dealing and full disclosure of related information, and aiming to develop the implementing regulations governing the capital market in the Kingdom on a continuous basis in order to further the development of the market and enhance the protection of investors and market participants, and based on the Capital Market Law issued by Royal Decree No M30 Dated 261424H, the CMA`s Board of Commissioners issued its resolution of amending the Listing Rules and Glossary of Defined Terms Used in the Regulations and Rules of the Capital Market Authority, and its resolution of amending the Merger and Acquisition Regulations by amending Paragraph (a) of Article (2) and deleting Paragraph (o) of Article (3) both of which are now dealt with by the amended Listing Rules.
