The Capital Market Authority announces imposition of a penalty of of SR 100.000 (One Hundred Thousand Saudi Riyals) on Saudi Arabia Fertilizers Co.  (SAFCO), due to its violation of clause (C) of Article (45) of the Capital Market Law. The news of establishing (SAFCO 5) factory, awarding the project to the Italian company SAIPEM, its value and implementation period was leaked to a website on 28/11/2011 before informing CMA and the public. It was later announced on 07/12/2011.
