CMA Graduates Development Program (GDP)

Introduction to the program:

CMA believing in its social responsibility, in order to raise the level of knowledge and skills in the technical and regulatory aspects of the stock field of the graduates, the Capital Market Authority provides the GDP program for the qualification of outstanding graduates to a level that will enhance their chances of obtaining jobs in the financial market sector.


Program Goals

 

  1. On-the-job training: the practical application of the legislative and regulatory role of the Capital Market Authority and its relationship with other entities.
  2. Obtain professional qualifications: Support participants to attend the preparation programs for professional certificates and conduct related exams.
  3. Development of functional competencies : gain competencies in: teamwork, relationships with others, analytical thinking, and time management.
  4. Raise the Level of knowledge: knowledge and familiarity with relevant regulations and procedures.


General information about the program

  • Program duration: Twelve (12) calendar months.
  • Specializations required: The application to the program is introduced to holders of a bachelor's, master's or higher diploma in the following disciplines:
  1. Finance
  2. Law
  3. Accounting
  4. Management

 

Training methods:

  1. On-the-job training (O.J.T)
  2. Rotation
  3. Mentoring and coaching
  4. Internal training programs and workshops
  5. Definition and discussion workshops
  6. Participation in meetings
  7. Presentations

Program benefits :

The nominated trainee gets the following :

1. Monthly salary allowance according to degree as follows:

  • Bachelor's degree: (8500) eight thousand five hundred riyals.
  • Master's degree / Higher Diploma: (11000) eleven thousand riyals.

2. Registration in General Organization of Social Insurance(GOSI)

3. Medical insurance for the trainee and his family members.

4. In-house training courses.

5. Compensation for fees for specific professional certification.

6. Personal and professional development

7. Gaining experience in the financial market

 

Entry Requirement:

1. Full-time.

2. Saudi national.

3. A Bachelor's / Master's / Higher Diploma in required majors must be issued or approved by the Ministry of Education. A formal letter stamped by the university indicating the date of graduation and obtaining the certificate may be submitted.

4. The grade point average (GPA) should be at least "very good" or equivalent

5. Applicants must not be older than:

    • 27 years for holders of a bachelor's degree provided that no more than two years have passed since the date of graduation
    • 30 years for holders of a master's degree / higher diploma provided that no more than one year from the date of graduation

6. Provide an English language test result provided that the grades are not below the following levels:


TOEFL​ internet based (64)

TOEFL computer based (180)​TOEFL paper based (500)(5) IELTS​
​ Bulats (60)​
​ STEP (83)​

7. Presenting the results of the " General Aptitude Test" or " Post-Graduate General Aptitude Test" accredited by the National Center for Measurement.​

8. Passing interviews.
